Pre Day 3

We've gotten into the meat of things. Learning the English language all over again...just kidding! But becoming aware of how often I use idioms, slang, and useless words such as um, like, so, or and. I am excited and nervous to see how teaching kindergarten will go. First the language barrier and the. The idea that I will be giving these tykes a foundation for the rest of their lives. There I go using tykes instead of children or students. Idioms! We've also discussed why we've decided to go to china. The answers vary but we're all pretty excited.

The pre-adventure begins

Today is the first day of training. It seems like I've been 'going to China' for a very long time, but not actually going anywhere. This is the start, the putting into motion, the beginning of the beginning. I am very excited to see what the future holds, and these next 12 days will answer a lot of my questions.
