Today we did some skills testing in shallow water and I took to it like a natural. All those swim lessons and hours upon hours spent in a pool only helped a little. The ocean is so different. And currents suck!!
But as we were swimming to the shallow part our instructor said we could put in our breathers and breathe underwater as we swam. So of course I jumped at the chance. And looking down I saw a ton of fish!! There were little bitty bright blue ones and darker blue with purple and striped ones and some black and white ones with the long fins on top and bottom and DORY! I saw dory and it was so cool!
I can't even convey the awesomeness. But I will definitely be diving more often. :)
